Hair should be at least ¼ inch long — roughly 10 to 14 days of growth after shaving. If the hair is too short, the wax won't grip it properly and results won't be as clean. Exfoliate gently 24 hours before your appointment and arrive with clean, dry skin for the best results.

Skip tanning beds, sunbathing, and hot tubs for 24 hours before and after your service. Freshly waxed skin is more sensitive.

Skip the gym after
